      A COUPLE OF FRIENDS THAT HAD EXPERIENCED CHRONIC COMPRESSOR PROBLEMS WITH THIS FRIDGE WARNED US NOT TO CHOOSE IT, BUT WE BOUGHT IT ANYWAY. AFTER ALL, IT WAS A MAYTAG AND TOP OF THE LINE AT THAT. WE FIGURED THE PROBLEMS THEY HAD EXPERIENCED WERE JUST A FLUKE.
      <br><br>AFTER ONLY 17 MONTHS WE'VE REVISED OUR THINKING BECAUSE THAT EXPENSIVE APPLIANCE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE OUR LIFE EASIER HAS BECOME A NIGHTMARE.
      <br><br>ALL I CAN SAY IT.......DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!!

      This refrigerator is a must have if you have alot of family gatherings or like to entertain. The adjustable shelves on top, and full width of unit freezer on bottom means that most large container foods, Large frozen pizza for example, can be stored flat. Trays of food fit easily in the fridge area as well or in the large pull out drawer. Energy efficient design/door interiors-behind plastic are foam filled. Makes them sturdier and keeps in the cold. Freezer on bottom works excellent, less bending over since I eat more fresh than frozen. Cold air falls and warm air rises. Fridge on top and freezer on bottom makes good sense. Great buy compaired to bigger names.

      The reason you don't see the maytag repair man on tv any more is that he is out busting his butt repairing maytag products. Owned for less than a year and had several problems and repairs. When we tried to get some one to come out and fix they all state
